Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership (Ed.D. EL) is intended for education professionals, in both traditional and non-traditional settings, who aspire to lead complex learning organizations. It offers curriculum designed to encourage innovative and thoughtful leaders with the know-how and desire to transform educational communities. Learning in an all-online environment, students engage with faculty members on significant issues of policy and practice and benefit from opportunities to interact with peers from a wide variety of professional backgrounds. Students work to develop the leadership skills necessary to drive change in diverse organizations. The program culminates in the completion of a practitioner-oriented doctoral study, which allows students to address a current problem of practice, and use data to respond to relevant and emerging problems within educational settings.
